On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, Governor Kay Ivey will preside over the commissioning of Jennifer Horne as the state’s new poet laureate.

We are proud to extend an invitation to support the literary arts in our state and attend the ceremony, which will be held in the Old Archives Room (S-201) at the state capitol building in Montgomery from 10-10:30 a.m.
