DEADLINE for poetry submissions is September 17th.

All poets and lovers of poetry are invited to attend the Robinson Jeffers Poetry Festival at Gorham’s Bluff Meeting House on Main Street, Pisgah, Alabama 35765. Registration fee for the festival is $12.

The festival will be on October 6, 2018, from 9:30 am until 3:00 pm. We will also have a free reception the night before the festival.

There will be a workshop conducted by Barry Marks and Adam Vines beginning at 9:30 AM. Lunch will be served at 12:30 and is included in your reservation fee.  During lunch, the awards for the winning poem and two runners-up will be announced. You must be present to win, and winning poems will be read.

There will be a $250 prize for the best original poem and certificates for the two runners-up.  Please submit one original, unpublished poem no later than September 10, 2018 (postmarked), in order to be considered. The poems may be about any subject, in any style, up to 42 lines (or 500 words if a prose poem).

Only pre-registered persons will be guaranteed a lunch.
