Just a reminder that this Saturday, January 19th, there will be a free Wordsmiths workshop at the Central branch of the Birmingham Public Library, located downtown, and we will have a special guest presenter: Jerri Hardesty will present a workshop on writing haiku poems!

She is a veteran slam poet, and she has won many haiku competitions. We will meet in the first floor conference room of the library at 3:30 pm, until 5:30 pm. The Central branch of the library is located at 2100 Park Place.
