Join the Burdock Book Collective and local author, Randi Pink, for the release of her second young adult book: Girls Like Us.

Girls Like Us is a story of four teenage girls and the common thread between them: their connection to and experiences with unplanned pregnancies. Randi Pink dives into friendship, girlhood, and body autonomy!

A native and resident of Birmingham, AL, Randi Pink leverages her unique experience with her southern roots when she writes. Randi is a mother, a wife, a writer, an advocate, a fighter, a friend, and so much more. Through a platform of encouragement, advice, and love, Randi loves connecting with the community around her and her loyal community of readers. Randi Pink is a proud student of University of Alabama at Birmingham’s creative writing program.

We are excited to host Randi in the Quaker Meeting House. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Randi will read from the book, answer questions and sign books! Burdock will have many copies of Girls Like Us for sale.
