For National Poetry Month, come hear two fantastic and accessible poets. Chelsea Rathburn, Poet Laureate of Georgia, is the author of three books of poetry, including the New York Times New & Noteworthy collection Still Life with Mother and Knife, published in 2019 by Louisiana State University Press.

James Davis May, recipient of Poetry Society of America’s Cecil Hemley Award, serves as Writer-in-Residence at Mercer University. His first poetry collection, Unquiet Things, was published by LSU Press in 2016 and a finalist for the Poets’ Prize. A book signing and reception with refreshments will follow the reading. Free and open to the public.
